Samson Bets Big on the River

Gang Zhao bet 3,500 from middle position on a board of Q9J6 and Romain Bailleul called in the hijack. Daniel Samson then raised to 15,000 in the small blind and only Bailleul called.

The river was the 2 and Samson bet 30,000. Bailleul quickly folded.

"I had ace-ten of spades. Just put another spade out there," Bailleul said.

"We're supposed to be playing small, but the pots keep getting bigger and bigger," Samson added.

Grossi Puts In a Massive River Raise Against Cody

Jake Cody and Christopher Grossi went heads-up to the river with the board showing 762J10 when Grossi bet 8,500 from the hijack.

Cody then raised to 20,000 on the button and Grossi came back with a reraise to 48,000. Cody went deep into the tank, pondering the decision for several minutes until he folded.

Konopelko Takes One on the River, Then Spikes a Boat

Andrei Konopelko bet 1,600 from under the gun on a flop of 1093 and Skyler Roberts called in early position. Brandy Savage then raised to 3,500 in the small blind and both opponents called.

All three players checked the 4 turn before Konopelko bet 6,500 on the 7 river. Roberts quickly folded, but Savage gave it some thought before also folding after around a minute.

"I would've called in your spot, but not with you behind me," Roberts told Savage.

The next hand, Roberts raised to 600 under the gun before Jeffrey Muncy three-bet to 2,600 in early position. Erick Lindgren called in middle position, as did Konopelko in the big blind and Roberts.

The flop came 445 and Muncy bet 3,500. Lindgren and Konopelko both called. The 8 turn was checked through and Konopelko bet 12,500 on the 5 river.

Muncy called and Lindgren folded, claiming he had two jacks. Konopelko showed 88 for a full house and Muncy tossed QQ into the muck.

Dan Shak raised to 800 from early position and Erick Lindgren called in middle position while the player in the big blind defended.

Action checked to Lindgren on the Q98 flop where he bet 1,000 and only Shak called.

Both players checked the 6 turn to the 3 river where Shak took over the betting lead, throwing in 2,000. Lindgren sighed and released his hand into the muck, ceding the pot to Shak.

Marchington Bombs the River on Peretz

Nicholas Marchington raised to 1,000 in the hijack before Yaniv Peretz three-bet to 3,200 in the small blind. Marchington came back with a four-bet to 7,000 and Peretz called.

The flop came 697 and Marchington bet 7,000. Peretz called and the 10 fell on the turn.

He checked to Marchington, who sat motionless for several minutes before putting in another 8,000. Peretz called to see the 2 river.

Peretz checked again, and Marchington once more took more than a minute before betting 45,000. Peretz only had around 15,000 remaining and also tanked for a few minutes. He eventually folded and Marchington took the lengthy pot.

Audacious Shove by Akkari

Picking up the action on the river, the board was reading 4597K when Alex Lynskey in the hijack bet 8,000 and was called by Kevin Rabichow in the cutoff. However Andre Akkari in the small blind check-raised all-in for 52,200. He made Lynskey fold, but Rabichow went deep into the tank.

"Action was check-raise on the flop and everybody checked the turn," a player at the table explained while Rabichow was trying to make a decision.

After approximately 5 minutes, Rabichow eventually decided to fold and Akkari discreetly revealed 33 for a very small flush.

Ruijs Shows Down Top Pair

Heads-up on a flop of 2KJ, Joris Ruijs led out for 2,500 from the small blind and Davis Modans called in middle position.

Both players checked the 4 turn. The river was the 10 and Ruijs bet another 14,000. Modans quickly called.

Ruijs showed AK for a pair of kings and Modans mucked as the Dutch high roller added to his stack.

The three players saw the 10 come on he river. Akkari bet out for 14,000 and was met by a raise to 32,000 by Speer. Rabichow folded and Akkari went deep into the tank, thinking for roughly two minutes. Eventually, he put in the call.

Speer turned over 99 for a full house. Akkari nodded his head, confirming that was good as his chips were sent in the direction of Speer.

The turn was the J and Margolin bet 12,500. His opponent took around two minutes before calling once more as the 8 fell on the river.

Margolin then announced a bet of 9,800 and his opponent snap-folded, surrendering the pot to the three-time WSOP bracelet winner.

Gulseven then bet 5,200 and Quoss raised to 13,000. Gulseven tanked for a minute before calling as the 7 fell on the turn.

Both players checked and the 10 came on the river. Gulseven checked to Quoss again, and Quoss checked back as Gulseven showed AA to win the pot.
