Watson Joins the Main Event

On a board of 2276, Mitch Garshofsky bet 1,200 from under the gun and only Mike Watson made the call from the button.

The river came the 7. Garshofsky fired out 4,100 and was met by a raise to roughly 18,000 by Watson. Garshofsky instantly folded and Watson pulled in the pot.

Markus Schill, in the hijack, checked the action to Leo Fernandez, on the button. Fernandez placed a sizable bet of 8,000 and Schill eventually made the call.

Fernandez tabled 99 for a turned set, while Schill mucked AK face up.

Gilbert Picks Up Queens

A player from under the gun raised to 500 and Elia Ahmadian called from the next seat. Jay Gilbert then squeezed to 2,500 from the hijack, and only Ahmadian called.

They both saw a flop of 87K which Ahmadian check-called a 2,000-chip bet from Gilbert.

The 4 turn and 7 river were both checked through and Ahmadian tabled 1010 for a pair of tens. Gilbert then flipped QQ for a pair of queens, and took down the pot.

Wolff's Overbet Gets it Done

Action was joined on the river with a board that read 35510J and a pot that had about 12,000 in it.

Michael Wolff made an overbet of 15,000 from the small blind. Wang Lee was on the button and had to think about it for close to a minute before he folded.
