Melone Shoves the River in Lengthy Pot

Heads-up on a flop of J6Q and around 35,000 in the pot, a player in the small blind bet 21,000 and Michael Melone called in the cutoff.

The turn was the Q and the small blind checked to Melone who bet 26,500. His opponent called and checked again on the 3 river.

Melone took several minutes before he moved all in for 45,000. "I guess you had to go all in at that point, huh," his opponent said as he then tanked for nearly five minutes.

He eventually folded and Melone took down the pot without a showdown.

Luber Hooks An Elimination

A player moved all in for 29,500 from late position and on the button Benjamin Luber called to put him at risk.

The 78J flop gave Noori a bit of sweat, but the K3 runout kept him best with aces and he scooped the large pot while sending both his opponents to the rail.

"First time I've been over six figures!" Noori said as he collected the pot.

Maxime Parys raised to 4,000 in middle position, Carlos Velasco three-bet to 11,000 in the hijack, and Parys called.

Both players checked the 10102 flop and Parys also checked the 2 turn. Velasco then bet 13,000 and Parys called.

The river was the 3 and Velasco bet 30,000. Parys took a minute before calling as Velasco turned over KK. Parys mucked and Velasco took down the pot.

Barstool Nate Gets an Unlucky River

Eric "Barstool Nate" Nathan raised to 4,000 from middle position, before a player in the hijack three-bet to 11,000. Once it folded back to Nathan, he made the call.

The flop came 6J5 and both players checked to the turn.

After the 7 hit the turn, Nathan bet out 10,000 which was called by the player in the hijack.

The river was the K and Nathan checked to his opponent who bet 25,000. Nathan quickly flicked in a chip to call and was shown KJ for two pair.

Nathan showed AxJx before tossing his cards in the muck.

Davis Finds Flush vs Foxen

Action came in at the end of the hand as the board read 210103Q. The pot had about 35,000 in it and Mark Davis fired 32,000 from the hijack.

Kristen Foxen was on the button. She thought for several moments before eventually calling. Davis tabled the KJ for a flush and Foxen mucked.

Elias Sniffs Out a Bluff

Darren Elias was heads-up from under the gun against a lone opponent in the big blind on a completed board of 7663Q with several thousand already in the middle.

The player in the big blind bet 11,000 and Elias went deep into the tank. Elias eventually put calling chips in front of his opponent, who showed K9.

Elias tabled AK and collected the pot with his ace.

Harmon Busts a Player

David Harmon raised to 4,000 from early position, and a player in middle position called. Then a player in the hijack three-bet all in for 65,000. Once it folded back to Harmon, he made the call, and the middle position player folded.

Harmon had his opponent dominated with ace-queen. Once the board ran out, it did not improve the hijacks hand, and he was eliminated.

Pitavy Makes an Incredible Hero Call to Join Ranks of Chip Leaders

The button then bet 34,000 and Pitavy called in the cutoff. The river was the 3 and the cutoff bet another 77,000.

Pitavy took a minute before he called once more, opening up AK for just ace-high. His opponent mucked and Pitavy took the massive pot to climb up past 600,000.

Yoshida Moves Up the Leaderboard

Anson Tsang raised from under the gun and Yutaka Yoshida made it 13,000 from the button. Tsang called.

On the QA4 flop, Tsang check-called a bet of 11,000 from Yoshida.

A 9 landed on the turn and Tsang checked out, then was faced with another bet after Yoshida fired 22,000. Tsang thought for a while then let his hand go.
