With the pot at around 70,000 chips on a flop of 4♣8♥9♥, the UK's Abid Riaz ended up getting his stack of 352,000 into the middle after the two engaged in battle on the flop.

Riaz was behind but not for long as the 7♥ turn gave him an unbeatable flush with the inconsequential 4♥ falling on the river, which put a small dent in the stack of Payne.
Picking up the action on the A♦J♣5♥10♥2♥ river, Anthony Wise had checked out of the big blind. Daniel Smiljkovic then moved all-in with the covering stack and that sent Wise deep into the tank.
With 226,000 behind, Wise eventually called and Smiljkovic immediately said "good call" as he flipped over his Q♥J♦ for a pair of jacks. Wise had that beat with the J♥10♦ and scored the double.
Kristen Foxen opened to 24,000 from the cutoff before John Dolan three-bet jammed for 195,000 out of the small blind. Foxen did not immediately call but, after asking for a count, committed calling chips to put Dolan at risk.

The two players were most likely heading for a chop and that was in fact the outcome after the board ran out 2♣Q♣6♥A♠8♠ to give each a small profit for their efforts.
A short-stacked Justin Barnum got it in with the A♦10♠ and was looked up by Narcis Nedelcu with the A♥J♣.
The kicker played a role on the J♦9♠7♦7♠A♠ runout to send Barnum to the payout desk.
Big stack Lingkun Lu had been moved to the red section and wasted little time to put his massive tower of chips to use. Nicholas Austin raised and then called Lu's three-bet to 80,000 in the cutoff.
On the J♣2♦2♠ flop, Austin checked and then folded to the bet worth 60,000 by Lu.
Action picked up on the river in a hand between Jonathan Little, who was under the gun, and the player in the hijack.
With roughly 250,000 in the pot and the board reading 7♥J♥A♥Q♠7♦, Little led out with a bet large enough to put his opponent all in, who had about 185,000 behind.
The hijack went deep into the tank before eventually tossing his cards into the muck.
In a heads-up pot between Terrance Reid in the small blind and a player in the cutoff, Reid bet 100,000 on the river with the board reading A♠J♣A♥10♦Q♣ and around 275,000 already in the pot.
The cutoff raised to 230,000 and Reid agonized over a decision before calling. The cutoff showed A♣Q♥ for aces full of queens as Reid showed the K♠ for Broadway before mucking in defeat.
