Ferro Forces His Way to Bigger Stack

Picking up the action on the 7424 turn, it was checked to Jacob Ferro, who bet 125,000 for his opponent to call with around 425,000 behind. The J was checked once more, allowing Ferro to slide forward his stack of T-100,000 chips, giving his opponent only two options: call or fold.

A tank fold followed in which the opponent revealed the 4, and Ferro raked in the pot.

One table over, fellow big stack Nazar Buhaiov jammed into two shorter stacks behind and claimed the pot uncontested.

The flop came 856 and action went check-check bringing the 8 turn.

Montoya led out for 45,000, Andersen raised to 100,000, and Montoya called.

The river brought the 4 and Montoya checked. Andersen then moved all in, covering the the stack of Montoya, who had about 225,000 behind.

Montoya went deep into the tank, staring Andersen down and mentioning "I wish I had a spade," before eventually tossing his cards into the muck.

On the 10A6 flop, all three players checked to the 8 turn. Howard led out for 65,000, which both the big blind and button called.

A Q filled out the board, and Howard fired another bet of 140,000, which only the big blind called.

Howard tabled 108 for two pair, and the big blind mucked.

Keating Finishes Off Perez

After battling out for several hands, including a memorable long one earlier today where Roberto Perez folded the river, Alex Keating ended the Spaniard's tournament by taking the last of his chips and finish their battle.

Keating complimented Perez as he headed to payouts. "You are a great player man" he said as he stacked his new chips to increase his stack to north of 3 million.

The action commenced with a raise to 35,000 and Joe Hamilton called from the very next seat. Santhosh Suvarna then three-bet jammed for his last 65,000 in the small blind and the initial raiser called. Hamilton reraised to 200,000 and isolated successfully.
