Rast had picked up kings and Morris was left looking for a miracle to keep his Main Event hope alive. The board ran out 8♦5♠4♣2♦4♦ and Morris couldn't catch up as he was sent to the rail in 34th place.
On the next hand following the elimination of Arthur Morris at this table, Diogo Coelho opened to 800,000 in middle position, then called when Giovanni Zanette moved all in for 6,225,000 on the button.

Pocket tens had again run into a big pair as Coelho turned over aces to leave Zanette at risk. Zanette picked up a straight draw heading to the river on a board of 9♥K♠3♦J♦, but he missed the 5♣ river and Coelho took the pot to send Zanette out in 33rd place.
Joe Serock raised to 800,000 in early position and was called by Guillermo Sanchez Otero in the cutoff and Yake Wu in the big blind.
The flop came 10♦2♦A♣ and was checked through to the Q♠ turn. Wu checked again before Serock slid in 1,100,000 chips.
Both his opponents folded quickly, chipping up Serock.
Diogo Coelho raised to 800,000 under the gun and Malo Latinois called in the cutoff with A♥Q♣. Charles Russell, with A♣Q♠ then three-bet to 4,000,000 in the small blind and only Latinois called.
Russell checked the J♦J♥10♥ flop and Latinois bet 2,500,000. Russell called to the 8♥ turn, where he check-called another bet of 3,000,000.
The river was the 10♠ and Russell checked for a third time. Latinois then bet 14,850,000, enough to put Russell all in, and Russell tanked for several minutes before giving up his hand.
Yake Wu raised to 800,000 and Andres Gonzalez defended the big blind. On the K♣J♦3♠ flop, both players checked. Gonzalez checked the Q♦ turn and folded when Wu bet 1,025,000.
Joe Serock then raised to 800,000 and Gonzalez moved all-in from the small blind. It folded back to Serock and he asked for a count. The shove was for 4,800,000 and Serock reluctantly called as the camera crew rushed by to film the showdown.

Neither player connected with the 3♠2♠2♣Q♦4♣ board to award another double to Gonzalez.
Gabriel Moura opened to 800,000 on the button and Gerardo Hernandez defended in the big blind with A♣3♦.
Action checked through the 5♣K♥9♥ flop to the 8♥ turn at which point Hernandez bet 1,100,000. Moura made the call.
The river came 6♦, prompting Hernandez to fire another barrel of 2,200,000. That sent Moura into the tank as he considered a call. Eventually, the clock was called and, before time expired, Moura flicked in a chip holding A♥9♠ and was rewarded with the pot to pick up some momentum heading into the dinner break.
Joe Serrock raised to 800,000 in the hijack and Guillermo Sanchez Otero three-bet to 3,300,000 in the small blind. Rodrigo Garrido Portaleoni then jammed all in for 9,200,000 in the big blind.
Serrock quickly folded before Sanchez Otero asked for a count. After receiving the correct number, he put in a call with the covering stack.

The board ran out low, with 8♥8♦6♥7♥8♣ giving Sanchez Otero a full house. Garrido Portaleoni shook some hands at the table before leaving to collect his payout.
Andres Gonzalez raised to 800,000 in the cutoff before Daniel Erlandsson three-bet all in for 4,000,000 in the small blind. Gonzalez instantly threw in a calling chip as the cards hit their backs.
