Kornuth Gives Up on the River

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Chance Kornuth limped under the gun followed by Jason Wheeler in the hijack, Alberto Fonseca in the cutoff and the small blind before the big checked his option.

When the 1076 flop hit the felt, the action checked to Kornuth who fired 36,000 across the line. Only Fonseca made the call.

The J fell on the turn and Kornuth announced a pot-sized bet of 144,000, and Fonseca stuck around with a call.

The 7 fell on the river and Kornuth snap-checked. Fonseca eyed his stack for a couple of seconds before pushing a bet of 250,000 across the line and Kornuth snap-mucked.

Hafer Triples Up

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Lukas Hafner committed his last 60,000 preflop with Abdul Almagableh and Bryce Yockey making the call to put him at risk.

Yockey bet enough to put Almagableh all-in on the A92 flop. After a few moments, Almagableh folded and Yockey had the chance to claim Hafner's bounty.

Lukas Hafner: QQ107 All in
Bryce Yockey: 6542

The 6 turn and J river meant Hafner would triple up with a queen-high flush.
