Pateychuk Picks Up Pot

Andrey Pateychuk raised from an early position to 800,000 and Dong Chen three-bet to 1,800,000. Pateychuk made the call and the players went heads-up to the flop.

The board came Q♥2♠J♣ and Pateychuk checked. Chen raised to 900,000 and Pateychuk made the call.

The 5♥ was turned and both players checked to the 10♥ river.

Pateychuk considered his action but found a check, and Chen checked back to showdown.

Pateychuk showed A♠Q♠ and Chen mucked his hand, giving the pot to Pateychuk.

Taylor Black made it 1,000,000 from under the gun. Andrey Pateychuk three-bet to 2,500,000 from the button. In the big blind, Adam Owen four-bet to 4,000,000.

Black played with his chips and checked his cards. He took a while before he eventually folded, while Pateychuk folded instantly to send Owen some more chips.

Adam Owen raised from under the gun to 1,100,000 and action folded to Dong Chen, who defended the big blind.

The flop came 8♣9♠4♣ and Chen checked. Owen asked how much Chen had behind before he raised, to put Chen all in for his remaining 3,000,000 stack. Chen called, and the players flipped their hands.

Dong Chen: A♣8♦ All in
Adam Owen: 2♥2♦

Owen was already behind on the flop as Chen had hit an eight. The A♥A♠ runout safely secured Chen the double.

Adam Owen raised to 1,100,000 form the hijack. David Uvaydov called on the button and Alec Torelli also called in the big blind.

The flop came K♥3♦K♣. It checked to Uvaydov who bet 700,000, Torelli quickly folded and Owen raised to 1,800,000. Uvaydov called.

The turn was the 7♥. Owen led for 1,500,000. Uvaydov folded.

Torelli Doubles Big Through Owen

Adam Owen opened for 1,100,000 from middle position. Alec Torelli ripped 11,900,000 from the small blind. Owen got the count and considered it for a while before tossing in the chips and hastily tabling his hand in one motion.

Adam Owen: A♦Q♣

"Good call," said Torelli, when the cards were displayed. Then the board came 3♦K♣J♠ to give Torelli the lead. The turn was the 5♥. Torelli needed to avoid a ten to stay alive which he did when the K♦ came down to fill him up and create a big change in chips at the table.

Clement Richez raised from under the gun to 1,000,000 and Boris Kuzmanovic three-bet to 2,500,000. David Uvaydov moved all in for around 8,000,000, prompting Richez to quickly fold. Kuzmanovic took some time but eventually threw his cards into the muck, leaving Uvaydov to scoop up the pot.

Uvaydov's rail cheered, and made the comment, "show them your deuces," as Uvaydov counted his new stack.

Torelli Takes Chip Lead

Action was on the flop as Adam Owen bet 800,000 from the hijack on a flop of 4♥K♥3♦. Alec Torelli called in the big blind.

The turn came the 9♠. Owen fired 4,000,000 and Torelli made a swift call.

The river came the 8♠. Action went check-check. Torelli tabled the A♥9♣ for nines as Owen mucked.

Torelli took over the chip lead after the hand as Owen's downward slide continued.

Boris Kuzmanovic Eliminated in 8th Place ($133,479)

Adam Owen opened from middle position to 1,100,000. Boris Kuzmanovic jammed out of the small blind for 8,325,000. Owen rubbed his head and shifted around in his seat while he thought for a few moments before turning over his cards and tossing in his chips for the call in a similar manner as he had done before.

It was a big flip as Owen had the same hand as the previous all-in he had been involved in. The flop came 5♣2♠J♠. The turn was the K♥ to give Owen an out to Broadway as well. The river came the Q♠ to bust Kuzmanovic and act as a much needed card for Owen who bounded back up the counts to stop his slide.
