Richez Doubles Through Torelli

Clement Richez raised from under the gun to 1,600,000, and Alec Torelli three-bet to 4,200,000 from the button. Action folded back around to Richez who moved all in for his remaining 13,900,000 stack.

Torelli asked for a count and commented to the table, "I don't think I am folding but I want to just check." After the dealer confirmed Richez stack, Torelli made the call.

Richez was looking to hold and the A♦A♥4♦ flop kept him ahead. The 3♦ turn brought in the diamond flush draw for both, but Torelli would have been ahead with the king.

Richez held on the 3♠ river and saw the double up, moving Torelli out of the chip lead.

The turn was the 7♠. Richez fired 4,000,000 and Owen folded.

The 2♠ was turned to pair the board and the rail was calling for an "Ace, Ace".

The A♣ came in on the river to give the players a chop, the hand before the dinner break.

Chen was saved from elimination and four players still remained on the final table.

With only four players remaining, Dong Chen raised to 5,000,000 from the button. Clement Richez moved all in from the big blind and Chen counted his remaining stack, before making the call.

The flop came A♦8♥10♦ and Richez remained ahead with a set, although Chen had some hope with a gushot straight draw.

The 5♠ K♦ runout didn't improve Chen, and he was eliminated in fourth place.

Action was checked by both players down to the river which showed 8♠9♥10♣4♥Q♣. From the button, Adam Owen made a pot-sized pot of 5,500,000.

In the big blind, Alec Torelli considered it for a while. "What are you doing here? Something like king-five? Are you just ****ing around?" he asked Owen.

After a few more moments he called. Owen showed the A♦J♦ for the straight.

"Nice bet, buddy," said Torelli as he sent the chips to Owen.
