Racener would need a lot of help to catch up, but the 6♣ on the turn sealed the deal as Allen made the nut flush to leave him drawing dead. The 5♠ on the river was purely ceremonial and Racener headed to the payout desk while Allen collected the pot.

After 17 levels of play on Day 1, just 89 players remain of the 1,306 who entered Event #90: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Day 2 will commence at 12 p.m. local time at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
The event generated a whopping $1,740,840 prize pool with the winner taking home $269,530 and the prestigious gold bracelet. The remaining 89 players will secure a cash of at least $3,376.
Ten more levels will be played today, each lasting one hour. Players will get a 15-minute break after every two levels, and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 23, expected to be around 6:30 p.m.
David Shaw solidified himself as the big stack in the room, having bagged and tagged a considerable sum of 1,028,000 heading into Day 2. He isn’t alone at the top with fellow big stacks Billy Tarango, Zachary Reinbold and Long Tran tailing behind with counts of 983,000, 969,000 and 962,000, respectively.
