Simao's Stack on the Rise

A player raised to 600 from under the gun and was called by a middle position player. Joao Simao then three-bet to 3,200 from the button, both players made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of 3105, both players checked to Simao who bet 3,000. The player under the gun called and the middle position player folded.

Action checked through on the 9 turn card.

The river was the 8 and the under the gun player bet 7,000. Simao decided to raise to 21,000, after some thought Simao's opponent made the fold.

Corrigan's Big River Bet Gets Through

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Under the gun opened things up with a raise to 800. Jack Corrigan three-bet to 2,100 from the hijack before Jorge Carvalho four-bet to 5,100 from the cutoff. The initial raiser folded but Corrigan called.

Carvalho continued for 3,500 on 1074 and Corrigan called.

Action went check-check on the Q turn before Corrigan sized-up to 26,000 on the 9 river. After a couple minutes of thought, Carvalho folded JJ face up, awarding the pot to Corrigan.

Schwaederle Not Getting Pushed Around

The button continued for 4,500 on 3102 and Schwaederle called.

The turn 3 peeled off and the button overbet the pot putting 17,500 chips into the middle before Schwaederle moved all in for 89,000. His opponent snap-folded and he took down a chunky pot without having to see a river.

Kharman Chipping Up

A player on the button raised to 700, Adam Kharman called out of the small blind before the big blind three-bet to 2,200, both players made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of Q85, the big blind bet 2,000 and the button called. Kharman then decided to raise to 7,500, the big blind folded and the button called.

The turn card was the 10, Kharman bet 8,500. After some thought the button slid his cards towards the dealer.

Howard Hero Calls the River
