The 6♦ river saw Lazazzaro accidentally check out of turn. The action still fell on Tran, who bet out 4,000. Lazazzaro kept him honest with a call and Tran tabled 8♣7♣ for flopped trips.

Initial Dates Released for 20th WSOP Circuit Season

The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.

Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.

There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.

The 9♣10♠10♦ flop saw Baxter play in flow. The original raiser continued for 1,500. Baxter rechecked his cards before bumping it up to 4,000. The under-the-gun player went into the tank but finally laid down their holding.

Action opened with a raise to 2,000 from middle position, which Emmanuel Lopez called in the hijack. The cutoff then made it 5,500. The original raiser folded and Lopez called.

The flop was Q♦10♣9♣. Lopez checked and the cutoff continued for 4,400. Lopez called.

The turn was the 5♥. Lopez checked and the cutoff bet again, this time 11,000. Lopez then went all in for 33,600, which his opponent called.
