Maeda Wins a Big Pot Through Hatmaker Yet Hatmaker Survives

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Casey Hatmaker moved all in from middle position for 170,000 and Akinobu Maeda made the call with the shorter stack 165,000 in the hijack and everyone else moved out of the way.

Akinobu Maeda: A10 All in
Casey Hatmaker: 55

The board ran out with 94QA7 and Maeda survived and Hatmaker was left with 5,000 in chips.

On the very next hand Hatmaker put in his last 5,000 into the pot from early position and David Wintersberger isolated with a raise in the cutoff to 60,000 and everyone else folded. After some confusion about how much Hatmaker should win, it all got sorted out and the pot was 60,000.

Casey Hatmaker: KJ All in
David Wintersberger: QJ

The board came out fairly neutral with 55374 and king high was golden and Hatmaker had a little bit more than just a chip and a chair.
