Lichtenberger Doubles Up on Bubble

Andrew Lichtenberger was forced all in from the big blind. Michael Moncek raised to 25,000. He was met with a call from Ronald Campbell on the button. Pavel Plesuv then went all in from the small blind. Both players folded, with Campbell revealing 6♣6♥.

The players waited for tournament staff to come over to do the run out.

The board came J♦9♣7♥A♣10♣ and Lichtenberger was able to survive.

Brock Wilson moved all in for his last 126,000 chips from under the gun, and Alex Foxen made the call from middle position, setting up a showdown.

Wilson was well ahead preflop, but the flop came Q♦8♦J♦, giving Foxen a flush and leaving Wilson in dire straits. "I told you, I had a feeling", Foxen commented.

The 6♣ turn confirmed his fate, and while the K♥ river brought the last king in the deck, it was too little, too late. Wilson was eliminated just two spots short of the money.

When the board came 4♣2♠2♦ the preflop aggressor checked his action, before Lictenberger put him all in. He tanked, and eventually made the call with his two overs.
