Mullaly Floats Gorodinsky

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Myles Mullaly opened to 80,000 in the hijack and Mike Gorodinsky defended in the big blind.

Gorodinsky checked on the flop of 10QQ and Mullaly continued for 55,000. Gorodinsky check-raised to 155,000 and Mullaly called. Gorodinsky then checked on the 3 turn and Mullaly checked back.

Both players checked again on the 5 river and Gorodinsky showed 109 to win the pot with a pair of nines.

Toma Busted by Manole's Set of Eights

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Tsugunari Toma opened to 100,000 from middle position. Taylor Paur called from the button, and Mihai Manole also called from the big blind.

On the flop of K85, Manole checked and Toma bet 130,000. Paur folded and Manole moved all in. Toma quickly called and the players flipped up their hands.

Tsugunari Toma: AK All in
Mihai Manole: 88

The 4 turn and 10 river were no help to Toma, and he was eliminated by Manole's set of eights.

Eslami Busts in Brutal Fashion

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action was picked up on a flop of 3610 where Richard Green had been checked to, before deciding to bet out for 85,000 into a pot of 140,000. Before long, he was put into the blender, as Ali Eslami shoved for 440,000. Green thought long and hard about his decision, as he only had 645,000 chips behind, and would’ve been left decimated if he called and lost.

After a couple of minutes, he muttered “six-five”, hoping that’s what his opponent had, before flicking in the call. Unfortunately, he guessed his opponent’s kicker incorrectly.

Ali Eslami A6 All in
Richard Green K6

The 3 turn gave Green three outs to a chop, but he chose a different route, as the miracle Kx peeled off on the river, and he took home the pot, as well as Eslami’s bounty.

He Who Must Not Be Named

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Myles Mullaly opened from under the gun and Yifu He defended in the big blind.

He checked on the flop of 10J3 and Mullaly continued for 55,000. He check-raised to 185,000 and called for a total of 650,000 when Mullaly three-bet jammed.

Yifu He: K4 All in
Myles Mullaly: AJ

Mullaly was ahead with a pair of jacks but He briefly took the lead on the K turn before the Q river gave Mullaly Broadway for a bustout.

Chen Misses Pay Jump

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Colin Robinson opened up the action from middle position, by making it 60,000 to go. Isaac Kempton liked his hand enough to announce a three-bet to 150,000 from the cutoff before Zhen Chen popped in a four-bet to 315,000, leaving only 235,000 behind.
Robinson mucked, and Kempton placed a huge stack of light green 25,000 denomination chips in front of him, more than enough to put Chen all in and at risk. Chen made the call and the two were flipping for a 1.375 million chip pot.

Zhen Chen: 1010 All in
Isaac Kempton: AQ

Although slightly behind preflop, Kempton smashed two pair on a QA4 board, and faded a ten on the 97 runout, to send Chen home in 33rd.

Battle of Mike and Mike

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Mike Gorodinsky raised on the button to 60,000, and Michael "Texas Mike" Moncek jammed all in from the small blind. The two players had a brief discussion about whether Texas Mike was playing crazy, before Gorodinsky made the call.

Michael Moncek: 55 All in
Mike Gorodinsky: AJ

The runout of 46788 gave Moncek a straight, and a double up in this hand.
