Get Ready for Some Short-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Action, $1,500 NLHE 6-Max Starts Today
Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.
Today sees the start of Event #13: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em here at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.
This three-day event gets underway at 10 a.m. local time with late registration open for nine levels. There will be 20-minute breaks every three levels, with a 75-minute dinner break after level 12.
The starting stack is 25,000 chips, and Day 1 will consist of playing 17 levels. Day 2 resumes at 11 a.m., and levels increase to 60 minutes.
Bulgaria's Simeon Spasov is the reigning champion. He topped a 2,526-strong field in 2024 to capture his second bracelet and $439,815 in prize money. Although several established players kept Spasov company at the final table, he believes that the final table from his first bracelet win proved a sterner test.
“Yeah, sure, maybe on Day 2 was tough… but the final table, no, last bracelet, was a much harder final table.”
