Action has wrapped up in Day 1 of Event #13: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas after 17 levels of play. Of the 2,354 runners who started the day, only 174 players will return for Day 2 on June 3, all of whom have already made the money.
The remaining players will be battling it out for a piece of the massive $3,124,935 prize pool, with the first-place prize of $414,950 going to the winner. When the dust settled on Day 1, Forrest Blackwelder emerged as the chip leader, bagging just shy of one million with 987,000. Right behind him was Tetsuma Ishizu (985,000), and rounding out the top three was Giuseppe Lomuscio (875,000).

Christian Harder was one of three bubble boys who busted in brutal fashion when his trips ran into the full house of Simon Britton.

Action will begin on Day 2 at 11:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, June 3, at the Horseshoe Las Vegas, where ten 60-minute levels are on the schedule.
The tournament will resume at Level 18, with blinds at 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 big blind ante. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels, and a one-hour dinner break will take place after Level 23 at approximately 5:30 p.m. local time.

Action was picked up with 110,000 in the pot on a flop K♦5♦2♣. Jiaming Zhao bet 40,000 on the button but to his surprise Eshaan Bhalla who was under the gun moved all in for 208,000, Zhao called after confirming the chip count.

Zhao with a pair and a flush draw could not hit as the board ran out 10♠K♣. Zhao clearly disappointed with Bhalla, which Bhalla replied with "what, I didn't think you had it".
There was roughly 36,000 in the pot on a flop of 4♦Q♥8♣, Giuseppe Lomuscio fired out a bet of 15,000 from the highjack, Daniel Lee called in the small blind.
Lomuscio did not slow down when the K♥ hit the turn and continued his aggression with a bet of 40,000, Lee called again. Action went check-check on the A♥ river, Lomuscio tabled K♣J♠ and scooped the pot.

Max Pinnola open-shoved in the cutoff for about 160,000, putting the rest of the players behind at risk. Kathrine Brandt made the call in the small blind for roughly 95,000.
