Jackson Catches Quads
David Jackson limped in the small blind and Damarjai Davenport checked his option.
The flop came A♥5♠A♦. Davenport was intently staring at Jackson, as if peering through his soul, as he waited for Jackson to act. Jackson checked and the man to his left checked after without taking his eyes off him.
The A♣ turn fell and, unfazed by Davenport's continuous stare, bet 100,000 into the pot. Davenport quickly checked the board, then reverted his stare back at Jackson as he called.
Finally, the river 8♦ dropped and Jackson checked. Once again, Davenport quickly looked at the board and his hand, then checked after.
Jackson tabled A♠3♣ for quads. Breaking the intensity of the moment, Eshaan Bhalla, who was also at the table, exclaimed, "I think that's going to win it."
