A Pair of Threes is Good Enough

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a flop of Q3Q, Eshaan Bhalla fired 40,000 from the small blind and got a raise from Bradley Gafford in the big blind to 80,000, sending Bhalla to the tank. After a few seconds, Bhalla called to see the next street.

The 8 dropped, and Bhalla check-called Gafford's bet of 125,000. Gafford slowed down, and the action went check-check.

Bhalla showed K9 for king-high, and Gafford showed 63 to claim the pot with a pair of threes.

Nguyen Four-Bets Jackson Out of a Pot

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After action was passed to him in a heads-up situation, David Jackson bet 50,000 on a J1094 board with around 220,000 in the pot. Toan Nguyen responded with a raise to 125,000.

After a quick stare down, Jackson three-bet to 450,000 sending Nguyen to the tank. Staring straight back at Jackson, Nguyen shoved all-in for around a million. Jackson mulled over the situation unmoving.

He pushed his cards towards the muck pile, surrendering his hand and the pot to Nguyen.

What a Sick Hand

Eshaan Bhalla raised under the gun to 80,000, Bradley Gafford three-bet to 240,000, and Shundan Xiao four-bet to 400,000. Bhalla folded, and Gafford made the call.

On a flop of K7J, Gafford checked to Xiao, who continued with a bet of 100,000. Gafford called. The 9 hit the turn, and this time Gafford led for 150,000. Xiao just called.

Gafford decided to leave just one big blind behind before moving nearly his entire stack into the middle. Xiao snap-shoved, putting Gafford to the test on the 5 river. He knew it wasn’t good news, but tanked for the $3,000 pay jump. When the floor called “payout,” Gafford flicked his last chip into the middle.

Gafford tabled AA but couldn’t beat Xiao’s top set with KK. Gafford was eliminated.

Jackson Gets There to Send Shenmolesky Packing

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Everyone folded to David Jackson in the small blind. With Maxwell Shenmolesky sitting short in the big blind, Jackson took a quick peek at his cards and raised for about 400,000, putting Shenmolesky to the test. After checking his own hand, Shenmolesky made the call, what was his all-in.

"I only saw a queen," Jackson admitted.

Maxwell Shenmolesky: A4All in
David Jackson: Q2

When Jackson revealed the deuce, he laughed and added, "Diamond!"

The flop came Q34, giving both players a pair, but Jackson had the better of it. The 5 on the turn brought a flush draw for Jackson, narrowing Shenmolesky’s hopes. The 8 on the river completed the flush, sending Shenmolesky to the rail as Jackson scooped the pot.
