Mitchell Shows Koon a Bluff
Level 17
: 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Pot-Limit Omaha
Jason Koon raised to 70,000 from the cutoff and Brandon Mitchell defended from the big blind. The flop fell K♣Q♠9♣ and both players checked to the 5♠ on the turn. Mitchell led out with a bet of 60,000 and Koon called.
The river was the A♣ and Mitchell announced all in, putting Koon to the test for his remaining 210,000. A crowd gathered around the table but Koon decided to send his cards to the muck. Mitchell proceeded to show his 10♠10♣9♦6♦ for just a pair of tens, using the bubble to pressure his opponents.
