Garza Making Noise

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Robert Cowen raised to 180,000 from under the gun, was called by Lou Garza in the cutoff, and Zhargal Tsydypov from the button.

On the flop of J44, Cowen checked, Garza bet 175,000, Tsydypov called, and Cowen folded.

Two checks followed the 3 turn card, and the river was the 5.

Garza elected to fire out 475,000 and Tsydypov made the fold.

Lamb Cracks Moncek's Aces

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ben Lamb raised the pot to 280,000 from the cutoff. Michael Moncek three-bet his button to 960,000, and Lamb called once the action folded back to him.

Lamb only had 105,000 remaining, which he called off once Moncek put him all-in on the K4Q flop.

Ben Lamb: KKJ3 All in
Michael Moncek: AA62

Lamb had flopped top set to take a massive lead over Moncek's aces. The 3 turn and 7 river changed nothing, seeing Lamb win his third all-in in a row.

Laszlo Bujtas Eliminated in 13th Place ($70,546)

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Laszlo Bujtas
Laszlo Bujtas

No-Limit Hold'em

Robert Cowen opened to 160,000 from the cutoff and Laszlo Bujtas moved his stack of 205,000 into the middle out of the small blind. Zhargal Tsydypov called in the big blind, and Cowen made up the rest.

On the 43K flop, Tsydypov checked and Cowen both checked to the Q turn, where Tsydypov bet 200,000. Cowen then took some time before he made a raise to around 750,000, and Tsydypov quickly folded.

Laszlo Bujtas: 55 All in
Robert Cowen: QJ

Cowen had paired his queen, which left Bujtas with just one chance to spike one of his two outs. That never happened as the A rolled off, leaving Bujtas out in 13th.

Tollerene Moves In

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Ben Tollerene raised to 160,000 in the cutoff. Chongxian Yang defended his big blind before he check-called Tollerene's bet of 125,000 on the QA4 flop.

The 4 turn then checked through to the 10 river, where Yang took the initiative by betting 380,000. Tollerene deemed the amount insufficient and jammed all in for 1,155,000.

Yang asked for a count but ended up making a quick fold after he heard the correct number.

Andrade Turns the Nuts to Double

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Gabriel Andrade
Gabriel Andrade

No-Limit Hold'em

Laszlo Bujtas opened the button to 170,000 and Gabriel Andrade called from the big blind.

The flop came J3K and Andrade check-called a bet of 100,000 from Bujtas to see the Q hit the turn. Again Andrade checked, then Bujtas bet 430,000. Andrade had 1,420,000 behind and moved them all into the middle, which Bujtas called after thinking out loud.

Gabriel Andrade: A10 All in
Laszlo Bujtas: K10

Andrade had the nuts and Bujtas could only get a rebate on the hand if he found an ace on the river to chop. Instead, the 8 rolled off, giving Andrade a double-up.

No-Limit Hold'em

Ben Lamb raised to 300,000 under the gun, leaving only 5,000 behind. Youness Barakat called on the button, as did Lou Garza in the big blind.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Gabriel Andrade opened to 200,000 from under the gun and John Pannucci tossed in a call. Robert Cowen confirmed the raise amount with the dealer and counted out a call on the button. Brandon Mitchell came along in the small blind, with Laszlo Bujtas defending his big blind.

"The nuts please," Cowen said to the dealer before the 626 flop was fanned out. Mitchell checked to Bujtas, who announced a bet of 260,000.

Andrade and Pannucci quickly folded while Cowen called. Mitchell then check-raised to 2,120,000, earning the pot as Bujtas and Cowen slid their cards into the muck.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Youness Barakat limped in under the gun. Chongxian Yang in middle position, Michael Moncek on the button, and Ben Tollerene in the small blind followed suit before Arthur Morris piled in 480,000 chips.

Barakat and Tollerene folded while Yang and Moncek made the call. Morris committed his remaining 480,000 on the 248 flop. Yang quickly mucked, but Moncek called after spending a time extension.

Arthur Morris: AAJ10 All in
Michael Moncek: 9864

Morris had flopped the nuts, and it remained the nuts on the 10K runout to grant him his double-up.

Andrade Gets One Through

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Brandon Mitchell called from under the gun, Gabriel Andrade called from the button, and Robert Cowen checked his option in the big blind.

On a 10106 flop, the action checked to Andrade who bet 185,000. Mitchell made the call while Cowen folded.

A round of checks followed the 8 turn.
