The flop read 4♥10♦10♠ and Shmuel check-called a bet of 35,000 from Betil.

Both players checked the 5♣ turn to the 3♥ river where Shmuel bet and Betil called.

Shmuel turned over A♥9♦6♥5♦2♦ for a wheel and six-high straight, earning a wince from Betil as he tabled A♠Q♦J♦J♠2♣ for just the wheel. The pot was quartered up and recently crowned WSOP bracelet winner Shmuel was awarded the pot.

Furth then called a 50,000 bet from Hanson on the 8♠ turn and both players checked on the J♦ river.

Hanson announced, "King, four-three," and showed K♥9♣4♦3♥ for a pair and a low. Furth tossed his hand into the muck and Hanson added to his stack.

Bart Hanson potted in the small blind to 35,000 and in the big blind, 1996 WSOP Main Event Champion Huck Seed called.

The flop rolled out 3♠10♠J♦ and Hanson bet 82,000 which sent Seed into the tank. He contemplated his decision for over three minutes before beginning to talk to himself about the hand.

"This might just be a bad call," Seed said as he eventually decided to call, putting himself at risk.

Seed stood up out of his chair and shook his head as the board ran out 10♣9♣ to give Hanson a full house and the Main Event champion took his leave from the tournament.

Both players then checked down on the 8♣ turn and K♣ river and Vitch turned over A♣4♠4♥3♥ for a flush.

Sternberg mucked his hand and Vitch added to his stack.

Patrick "Pads" Leonard raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and Dennis Weiss defended in the big blind.

The flop rolled out 5♠2♣4♥ and Weiss checked over to Leonard who bet 60,000.

"You're more disciplined than your friend," Leonard said over to Weiss who remained very still while shuffling his chips before throwing in the two greens and reds to call.

"I do not like that turn card," Leonard muttered to himself on the 10♥ turn with the action checking through. The river 10♠ saw Weiss bet 70,000 and Leonard let it go.

"Big fold," he said as he flashed a 5♦ in his hand. Weiss returned the favor by flashing a 5♣ as he raked in the pot to his stack.
