Day 2 of Event #16: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack at the 2025 World Series of Poker is set to get underway at 11 a.m. local time. After drawing a massive 3,110 entries on Day 1, the prize pool swelled to $1,567,440, surpassing last year's total and promising a thrilling second day of action.
Of those thousands, just 108 players remain. They’ll return to the tables at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas for their shot at WSOP gold and the first-place prize of $193,780. Every returning player is already guaranteed a payout of at least $1,764, but the real prize lies ahead: the prestigious bracelet and a six-figure payday.
Sitting comfortably atop the leaderboard is Zachary Reinbold, who bagged an impressive 3,475,000 in chips, a million ahead of his nearest challenger, Oziel Velador, who returns with 2,475,000. Reinbold isn’t new to Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments at the WSOP, having notched two deep finishes last summer with a 17th-place run in the $3,000 6-Handed PLO and an eighth-place finish in the $1,500 6-Handed PLO.
A pair of bracelet winners also find themselves in strong positions. Nick Maimone (2,155,000) and Miguel Proulx (1,805,000) both bagged inside the top five and will be looking to add another title to their resumes. The field also still includes two standout names from the WSOP 25K Fantasy Draft rosters, John Riordan (1,480,000) and Josh Arieh (980,000), who are still alive and well, hunting for points and another deep run.

Several familiar names made it into the money but fell short of a Day 2 appearance. Among those who cashed but did not advance were bracelet winners Erick Lindgren, Jamie Gold, Calvin Anderson, and former Main Event champion Ryan Riess.
Day 2 kicks off at Level 23 with blinds at 15,000/30,000 and a big blind ante of 30,000. Levels will last 30 minutes each, with a 15-minute break following every four levels. It promises to be a fast-paced day with plenty of action, as the field plays down toward the final table and eventually a new WSOP champion.
