Gutierrez Gets Value with Kings Full

Level 38 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Matthew Allen opened the action with a raise to 2,200,000 on the button, picking up calls from Cristian Gutierrez in the small blind and Robert Chorlian in the big blind.

The flop came KQQ, and all three players checked it down.

The Q hit the turn, and after both blinds checked again, Allen fired for 4,500,000. Gutierrez was the only caller.

The river brought the 6, and both players checked once more.

At showdown, Allen announced “Ace high,” but Gutierrez turned over KK97 for a full house, kings full of queens, and dragged the pot.
