Just 19 players remain in Event #17: $2,000 No-Limit Hold’em at the 2025 World Series of Poker, and one of them will walk away with a coveted WSOP gold bracelet and the lion’s share of the $3,011,760 prize pool. Leading the way is Dusti Smith, who bagged a monstrous 8,500,000 chips and holds a commanding lead heading into the final day inside Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.
Smith has already locked up the deepest WSOP run of her career, and if she wants to progress further, she’ll need to navigate a field packed with dangerous opponents. Quan Zhou sits second in chips and is the only other player above five million, while Scott Bohlman, a seasoned bracelet winner and 25K Fantasy Draft pick, rounds out the top three with 4,815,000.

Also still in contention are the likes of Jesse Lonis, Pete Chen, and Brian Green, each looking to add more hardware to their collections. Lonis will return in the middle of the pack with 21 big blinds, while Chen and Green have some work to do as two of the shortest stacks in the field.
Each of the remaining 19 players has locked up at least $15,810, but all eyes will be on the top prize of $436,044 and the gold strap. The runner-up will walk away with $290,588, while a podium finish is worth $210,033. Reaching the final table guarantees a minimum payday of $38,369, with six-figure payouts for the top five.
Cards are back in the air at 1 p.m. local time inside the Horseshoe Event Center, with blinds resuming at 30,000/60,000 and a 60,000 big blind ante. Levels will remain 60 minutes in length as the tournament plays all the way down to a winner.

Benjamin Williams opened from middle position to 120,000 and got called by Allen Shen in middle position.
The board showed Q♦5♣10♦ on the flop. Williams decided to bet 60,000, but Shen raised to 280,000 and got called.
The turn came the A♥. Both players paid 400,000 each to see the river 9♦, which was checked down.
Shen showed his pockets tens 10♠10♣ and Williams mucked his cards straight away. The set of Shen earned him a huge pot.

Rafael Mota opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 120,000, and the table folded around to Xiaohu Liu in the big blind, who made the call to defend.
The flop fell 7♠K♣3♦, and Liu checked it over to Mota, who continued for 80,000. Liu called without hesitation.
On the 9♠ turn, Liu began to stir, check-raising to 700,000 after Mota fired a sizable 255,000. Mota made the call, and tension built heading to the river.
The 8♥ completed the board, and Liu unleashed a bold bet of 1,500,000, leaving just 525,000 behind. Mota entered the tank, but ultimately chose to fold, conceding the sizable pot to Liu's well-timed aggression
