Alexander, Seiver Chop Up Tafur

Level 9

Badeucy

George Alexander bet from the button on the first draw and Daniel Tafur called under the gun, as did Scott Seiver in the cutoff.

Seiver and Tafur each drew two, while Alexander stood pat and bet again. Both opponents called and Tafur took two, Seiver one, and Alexander patted.

Alexander then bet and only Seiver called this time. Alexander showed 98754 for a Badugi, while Seiver had 85432 for an 8-5 to chop up Tafur's contributions to the pot.

Negreanu's Kings Send Suzuki to the Rail

Level 9

Big O

Daniel Negreanu and Ryutaro Suzuki were heads-up on a flop of 83Q when Suzuki bet 7,000 from under the gun. Negreanu called in the big blind.

The turn was the 3 and Suzuki bet 15,000. Negreanu then raised enough to put Suuzki all in, and Suuzki called for an additional 30,000.

Suzuki had A10762, while Negreanu was ahead with AKK94. Suzuki was looking to hit either an ace or a low, but he missed the 9 river and Negreanu scored the knockout.

Justin Liberto was also recently eliminated at this table.

Matusow Makes a Wheel

Level 9

A-5 Triple Draw

Action was picked up after first draw in a hand between Douglas Lorgeree from the big blind and Mike Matusow from under the gun after Lorgeree check-called a bet.

Lorgeree took two and Matusow took one before Lorgeree check-called another bet.

On the final draw, Lorgeree took one and Matusow stood pat. Matusow fired for a third time before Lorgeree went into the tank for almost a minute and begrudgingly put in the call. Matusow tabled 5x4x3x2xAx for number one as he dragged the pot.

Barbero Scoops Four-Way Pot

Level 9

Badacey

Jake Schwartz raised under the gun and Adam Owen called in the hijack. Nacho Barbero then reraised in the cutoff and Ofir Mor called in the small blind, as did Schwartz and Owen.

Mor and Barbero drew two, while Schwartz and Owen took three. All four players checked and drew two on the second draw.

"No more free cards," Barbero said as he bet. Only Owen called.

Owen then drew two and Barbero stood pat. The dealer ran out of cards and had to shuffle the discards back into the deck before giving Owen his last two cards. Barbero then bet and Owen called.

Barbero showed 86532 for an 8-6 and Badugi, and Owen mucked.

Razz

Noah Bronstein completed, Brandon Cantu raised, and Bronstein called.

Cantu led on fourth. Bronstein check-called on fifth and led on sixth.

On seventh, Bronstein checked to Cantu who bet, Bronstein raised, Cantu made it three bets, and Bronstein shrugged as he tossed in the call.

"Number two," announced Cantu as he tabled his hole cards and dragged a big one.

Vengrin Spikes the River to Quarter Zhu

Level 8

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

Matt Vengrin bet 12,000 from the big blind on a flop of 7K3 before Yueqi Zhu potted in the small blind. Vengrin then moved all in for 61,000 and Zhu called.

Matt Vengrin: A852 All in
Yueqi Zhu: AK72

Zhu was ahead with top two pair as the 6 turn gave both players the same low. Zhu was poised to take three-quarters until the 9 river improved Vengrin to a straight and instead gave him three-quarters of the pot.

"I had everything," Zhu lamented, shaking his head as the pot was split up.
