The 5♦A♥10♦ flop was fanned out and Alioto checked. Hoenig bet and the call was made to see the 9♠ turn.

Another check from Alioto was followed by a bet from Hoenig. Alioto called and the dealer flipped over the K♠ river.

Alioto checked again, opting to fold after Hoenig fired another bet.

Ryan Hoenig raised on the button and Matthew Vengrin made the call in the small blind.

Vengrin checked the 5♣9♣3♠ flop and Hoenig continued with a bet. The call was made and the dealer flipped over the 2♦ turn. Another check from Vengrin was met with a bet from Hoenig.

Vengrin called to the 8♦ river, where he checked one last time. Hoenig slid out a bet and Vengrin went into the tank.

"Bad river," Vengrin told the table as he opted to lay it down after a couple of minutes and Hoenig recovered some lost chips.

Smith bet another 108,000 on the 6♣ turn and Sternheimer again called. The 9♥ river was checked down and Sternheimer showed A♦Q♣J♣5♠ for a flush to win the pot.

Jon Turner opened to 25,000 in middle position, with Brandon Cantu calling on the button and Ryan Hoenig defending his big blind.

Hoenig and Turner checked the 3♥8♦A♠ flop and Cantu bet 25,000. Hoenig then check-raised to 60,000 and Turner got out of the way.

Cantu called to see the Q♦ turn, where Hoenig led out for 140,000. After taking some time, Cantu announced a pot-sized raise. Hoenig quickly moved all in and Cantu called off the rest of his stack.

Ryan Hoenig: J♥10♣6♦4♦2♠

Both players had the same low, while Cantu held aces and queens for the high. The 8♠ river changed nothing, as Cantu raked in three-quarters of the pot.

"Nice hand," said Hoenig as he counted his remaining stack.
