Slone Stays Alive

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Agenia Slone got her last 5,500 into the middle preflop with Aaric West making the call to try and bust her.

Agenia Slone: A10 All in
Aaric West: K9

Slone was slightly ahead with ace-high and just had to fade a king or a nine to double up. The flop came down 7KJ to put West in the lead with top pair. The A fell on the turn to put Slone ahead with a pair of aces. The Q river didn't change anything, and Slone doubled through West.

Brutal River Decision

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

John Vournas raised to 900 from early position, and Maxwell Donohue reraised to 2,500 from his immediate left. Action folded around to Donohue who decided he wanted to see three.

Heads-up to a flop of K82. Action checked around.

Things became more interesting as the J landed on the turn, and Vournas made a bet of 2,000. Donohue quickly called.

After the A fell on the river, Vournas elected to put Donohue at risk for his remaining 16,000 chips, overbetting into a pot of 10,000.

After some deliberation, Donohue hesitantly called.

Maxwell Donohue: AJ All in
John Vournas: 76

The worst runout imaginable for Donohue, as his runner-runner two pair was not enough to overcome the flopped flush from Vournas, concluding his tournament.

Zavodnik Wins With Two Pair

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up to a turn on a board of 3758, with around 5,000 in the middle, Lawrence Letourneau checked out of the big blind and Eric Zavodnik bet 2,800 from the cutoff. Letourneau did some inventory and then made the call.

Letourneau checked the J river, and Zavodnik bet 4,200. Letourneau quickly called and Zavodnik turned over 85 for two pair. Letourneau couldn't beat it, and the pot was sent to Zavodnik.
