Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

As Day 1a of the only shootout tournament of this year's WSOP draws to a close, four players remain across two tables, with the winner of each making it through to a "table of champions" in Day 2 tomorrow.

The first matchup has Craig Mason taking on Corey Dodd. The two have been heads-up for over two hours, and things could not be closer, as Dodd holds 115,000 chips to Mason's 110,000.

On the other table, there is a slightly larger chip imbalance between Kevin Kent and Garry Gates, with the latter on 92,500 chips to Kent's 132,500.

The average stack is at 20 big blinds; a number that will only decrease as time goes on, so these players have to do everything in their power to take the advantage as soon as possible.
