Pring Sent Packing

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Zyad Qasem and Weston Pring had extremely similar stack sizes when they arrived at the turn, with the board reading 839J. Pring decided he was ready to play for everything, as he announced "all in," however he instantly knew he was drawing thin as Qasem snap-called his bet and tables his cards triumphantly.

Weston Pring: 109 All in
Zyad Qasem: Q10

Although the turn seemed like a great card for Pring, making him open ended, it improved Qasem to the stone-cold nuts. Pring was unable to find the chop he was drawing to on the 5 river, and stacks were counted, revealing Pring was just about covered. He noted that if it had been one hand ago, he wouldv'e still been breathing on an extremely short stack, however unfortunately for him this was not the case as it was Qasem who advanced to Day 3
