Lykov and Wood Chop It

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Tzur Levy raised to 11,000 in middle position, Maxim Lykov flatted on the button, and Brian Wood defended in the big blind.

The flop of 2K9 checked through to the Q turn. Wood checked, Levy bet 28,000, Lykov called, and Wood bumped it up to 113,000. Levy folded and Lykov moved all in to put Wood at risk, who quickly called.

Wood was freerolling with his flush draw but the 8 rolled off on the river, resulting in a split pot.

Daniel Wirgau was seen dragging in a sizable pot with with pocket aces. With cards still on their backs at showdown, he was up against K9 and AK on a runout of Q3Q22.

Wirgau is now the chip leader at his table.

Nguyen Wins One to Bust Fletcher

Qui Nguyen raised to 10,000 from early position. Clayton Fletcher called in the hijack, Maxim Lykov called on the button, and, Brian Wood called from the big blind.

The four players took a flop of Q107. When action checked to Nguyen, he bet 17,000. Fletcher then bumped it up to 43,000. The other two remaining players folded, but Nguyen moved all in for the rest of Fletcher's stack. Fletcher paused a bit before calling.

Fletcher was way ahead and found the safe 6 on the turn. However, the river A gave the pot to Nguyen and eliminated Fletcher from the tournament.

Gourav's Stack on the Rise

Action went three-ways to a flop of A32 in a hand between Craig Mason who was under the gun, Kuowei Kao in middle position, and Aditya Gourav in the big blind.

All three players checked around to the 9 turn where Gourav led out with a bet of 15,000. Mason and Kao both called.

On the 4 river, Gourav bet again, this time for 35,000. Mason folded and Kao made the call. Gourav tabled A9 for two pair, aces and nines to scoop the pot.

On the A510 flop, Seward check-called a bet of 16,000, bringing the 9 turn which went check-check.

The river landed the 4 and Seward led out with a bet of 36,000. Plott thought for a brief moment before making the call.

Seward tabled AQ for top pair and Plott mucked his cards.

Neff Jams Turn

Peter Neff raised to 9,000 from the button. He was met with a three-bet to 27,000 from Ivan Dimitrov in the small blind. Neff decided to stick around and see a flop.

The board came K95 and Dimitrov continued for 31,000. Neff slid in calling chips.

On the J turn, Dimitrov slowed down and checked. Neff then moved all in, and Dimitrov quickly folded.

Artem Metalidi raised to 9,000 in late position, Lander Lijo flatted on the button, and Jason Wheeler made it 34,000 to go in the big blind. Metalidi called and Lijo got out of the way.

The flop came 733 and Wheeler continued with a bet of 20,000. Metalidi made the call.

On the 10 turn, Wheeler bet again, this time for 38,000. Metalidi thought for a moment before giving up his hand.

Duvall's Kings Cracked

Daniel Tafur raised to 10,000 under the gun, Yulian Bogdanov three-bet from middle position to 30,000. Then Alexander Duvall woke up from the small blind and raised to 95,000. Tafur got out of the way, but Bogdanov moved all in. Duvall snap called and the cards were exposed.

When the flop came J24, Bogdanov had flopped the nuts. The 4 on the turn had Duvall drawing live, but the 2 river didn't save him from elimination.
