Yockey Takes the Chip Lead

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Bryce Yockey
Bryce Yockey

With two players seeing a board of J104 and roughly 225,000 in the middle, Zachary Zaret checked from the big blind and Bryce Yockey bet 225,000 from the button. Zaret called.

Zaret check-called another bet from Yockey on the 2 turn, this time for 515,000. On the 9 river Zaret checked and Yockey bet 1,580,000.

Zaret went into the tank for a couple minutes, commenting that it would be hard for Yockey to have a better flush than he did. After a few minutes Zaret called.

Yockey turned over AKJ5 for a king-high flush to drag in a massive pot, taking the chip lead from Zaret in the process.

Korn Loses a Million

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

With players one seat away from a potential nine-seat final table, the pace of play has slowed considerably, there has been little action.

The most interesting hand since an early bust out led to two five-handed tables, was between chip leader Zachary Zaret and Andres Korn.

Korn, playing from the big blind, did most of the betting, putting in nearly one- million chips before the turn and a pot-sized raise from Zaret on the board 210A3.

Korn didn't even hesitate to toss in his cards.

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Yehuda Buchalter
Yehuda Buchalter

Christopher Vitch limped in from the cutoff, Yehuda Buchalter called in the small blind and Marco Johnson checked in the big blind.

The flop came K108. Buchalter checked, Johnson bet 180,000 and Vitch responded with a pot-sized raise. Buchalter shoved for a bit more, Johnson folded and Vitch called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Yehuda Buchalter: J1088 All in
Christopher Vitch: KK73

Buchalter was drawing thin with bottom set versus Vitch's top set. He found no help on the J3 runout and he became the first player to be sent to the rail today.
