Rich Last to Depart Before Redraw

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Juan Lamprea opened to 75,000 under the gun. It folded to Reagan Rich, who committed his last 90,000 from the big blind. Rich instantly called, revealing the cards.

Reagan Rich: A1097 All in
Juan Lamprea: A962

Lamprea made two pair on the 36QJ9 runout to win the pot and send Rich to the rail. The remaining 24 players were redrawn across three tables.

A Chair, Not a Chip

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

After getting his chips clipped down to just 60,000, Edward Jackson Spivack looked at his measly stack, shook his head and said, "A chip and a chair."

The very next had, he was under the gun and decided to raise, while holding onto a lone 5,000 chip.

Unfortunately, with the minimum raise being 60,000, Spivack could have (for now) but not the chip.

Three callers joined in to see the flop 1098, which drew a 420,000-chip bet from Andres Korn. Joseph Couden and Shane Daniels folded.

Edward Jackson Spivack: Q1086
Andres Korn: A763

The turn-river of 63 gave Korn the straight knockout.

Johnson Hits Running Clubs to Triple

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With three players seeing a board of 1098, Marco Johnson was all in from the cutoff for a bit under 1,000,000, Sergio Benso was all in from the small blind for less and they were up against Eric Tang who had both players covered from the button.

Sergio Benso: K853 All in
Marco Johnson: QQJ10 All in
Eric Tang: KQJ4

Benso had a pair and a flush draw while both Johnson and Tang had the nut-straight. The rest of the board ran out K4 giving Johnson a running flush to scoop the pot, elimiante Benso and leave Tang short-stacked. Tang was unable to recover and was eliminated shortly after.

Rich Left With Crumbs

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Ronnie Tate limped in from the cutoff, Zachary Zaret followed suit on the button, and Reagan Rich made it 150,000 to go from the small blind.

Tate then jammed all in for 330,000. Zaret got out of the way, but Rich made the call with the covering stack.

Ronnie Tate: AJ52 All in
Reagan Rich: AQ43

Tate's five paired up on the 4101095 board, granting him the victory and doubling him up. Rich meanwhile, was left with just four big blinds to his name.

Spivack Gets Quartered, Hemingway Heads Home

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Edward Jackson Spivack was all in from the hijack for a total of 815,000 on a 63K8 turn, and was at risk against Grant Hart on the button.

Edward Jackson Spivack: A932 All in
Grant Hart: A10102

Both players had the nut low, but Hart had the better high of the two. The 5 river did not change anything, and Jackson Spivack was left with about half of his original stack.

At another table, Jared Hemingway was eliminated to leave 28 players remaining.

Aalvik Bounced in 30th Place

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Davis Aalvik
Davis Aalvik

Davis Aalvik was down to his last 85000 chips and got them into the pot with two callers in Justin Liberto and Joey Couden. Liberto chose not to call a river bet, leaving Aalvik's tournament life to Couden on a board that read: QJ10109.

Aalvik shook his head and pronounced his own death before turning over his cards.

Davis Aalvik: A522
Justin Liberto: AQ105

Bryce Yockey

In a preflop confrontation Jared Hemingway was all in from the small blind and up against Bryce Yockey who had him covered from early position.

Jared Hemingway: AA76 All in
Bryce Yockey: AAK3

The board ran out 5279J. Both players had their pocket aces play for the high but Yockey had the better low to take three quarters of the pot.

Buchalter Gets One Through

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Calvin Anderson made it 60,000 from the cutoff, and Yehuda Buchalter reraised to 275,000 on the button. Anderson weighed his options for a while before calling, seeing the 533 flop appear on the table.

Anderson checked to Buchalter, who quickly jammed all in for 205,000. Anderson snap-mucked his cards and handed his former chips over to Buchalter.
