Michael Moncek
Michael Moncek

After being left running on fumes by Mustapha Kanit, Mike Moncek moved all-in from under the gun for his last 70,000. Action was folded to Kai Cohen on the button, who also announced all in to isolate. All other players folded.

Mike Moncek: J9All in
Kai Cohen: A7

Moncek took the lead on the 7J4 flop but needed to dodge a spade to stay alive. When the K came on the turn, he was drawing dead and eliminated. The inconsequential 4 came on the river.

Von Kriegenbergh Gets River Value

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Taylor von Kriegenbergh opened for a raise to 27,000. That was met with a call from Nick Maimone next to act. Everyone else folded.

The board came 832 and Von Kriegenbergh checked. Maimone now took the initiative and bet 27,000 himself. Von Kriegenbergh called.

The action knuckled around on the 7 turn. Then on the 2 river, Von Kriegenbergh came out swinging, and bet 115,000. Maimone thought things over before making the call. Von Kriegenbergh tabled the 1010 and Maimone mucked.
