Limits: 12,000-24,000
The players have gone on their second 15-minute break of the day.
Jun Weng and Marcel Vonk had capped the betting before the first draw, after which they both stood pat.
Weng's remaining 23,000 chips were put in the pot after the first draw, and Weng and Vonk declared their pats two more times.
When the dealer asked for a showdown, Weng refused, arguing there was one draw remaining.
The floor was called over, and after several more minutes of arguments and cross-checking with several people, it was determined that all draws had indeed taken place. Weng pleaded to check the cameras to no avail.
Weng then reluctantly tabled 10♦8♠7♥6♣ for a ten-badugi, which lost to the 7♦5♥2♠A♣ of Vonk. He exited the tournament area while the table continued discussing the remarkable situation.
John Monnette raised in the cutoff and on the button, Patrick Stacey three-bet which Monnette called.
Monnette drew two while Stacey drew one and Monnette check-called a bet from Stacey.
Both players drew one on the turn and Monnette bet which saw Stacey call.
Once more both players drew one and Monnette bet, with Stacey throwing in a single green chip to call.
"Seven," said Monnette as he tabled 7♥3♠2♣A♦ for a seven Badugi, and Stacey briefly showed 5♥3♦A♠ for a three-card five, leaving the WSOP bracelet winner to rake in the pot.
Action was picked up on the second betting round in a pot between three players.
In the big blind, Jaekyung Sim checked to Daisuke Ogita in first position, who bet, and Kevin Choi in the cutoff raised. Sim raised again, and Ogita folded while Choi raised all in, and Sim quickly called.
Both players stood pat.
Kevin Choi: 7♥5♦3♠A♣
Jaekyung Sim: 10♣7♦3♥2♠
The seven was good against Sim's ten, and Choi doubled up.
Ray Fishman raised from the small blind. David Funkhouser was in the big blind and put in a three-bet, which Fishman called. Fishman drew two cards on the first draw, with Funkhouser only needing one.
Fishman check-called Funkhouser's bet before both players drew one card on the second draw, checking it to the third draw after. They each took one card again, after which Fishman made a bet.
Funkhouser called off, and Fishman's Q♥5♠3♣2♦ badugi awarded him the pot.
Jaekyung Sim raised in the hijack and Andrew Brown three-bet on the button which saw action fold back around to Sim who called.
Sim pitched one card while Brown stood pat and Sim check-called a bet from Brown.
On the second draw, Sim drew one again while Brown stood pat and Sim check-called a second time.
The third draw saw Sim draw one, Brown stand pat, and action checked through.
Brown tabled K♣J♥10♠6♦ for a king and it was good as Sim tossed his hand into the muck.
Action was picked up on the second betting round in a sizable pot between Felipe Ramos in the small blind and Ray Fishman in the big blind.
Ramos bet and Fishman called, with some comments made from both players after.
"I'm a professional player," commented Fishman as Ramos stood pat and Fishman drew one.
"Ok," Ramos responded "I check to the professional dealer."
Fishman looked at his card and tossed in a bet. Ramos called and Fishman tabled 8♦6♣3♠2♥ for an eight, which was good for the pot as the WSOP bracelet winner tossed his hand into the muck.
Kevin Choi raised on the button and was three-bet by Patrick Stacey in the big blind. Choi threw in a fourth bet, which Stacey called before standing pat.
Choi drew one card in response. Stacey then led out, and Choi called before both players remained pat on the second draw.
The same sequence then occurred on the third draw, and Stacey tossed in a final bet afterwards. Choi called to showdown, where Stacey's 6♦4♣3♥2♠ won him the pot.
