Ordet Survives in Four-Way Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 0/0, 15,000 ante

K8686
Q75J6

Kevin Ordet moved his last 80,000 into the middle. Ryan Otto, Jacob Baumgartner, and Abdel Hamid all called in successive order behind him.

Action checked through on the turn cards. Then on the river, Otto checked and Baumgartner bet pot for 345,000. Hamid thought for a long time before making the call, and Otto folded.

Kevin Ordet: AK86
Jacob Baumgartner: AQ77
Abdel Hamid: AK97

Ordet's eights full of sixes gave him the top board, while Baumgartner's flush gave him the bottom, and they chopped up the pot.

Charchyan Goes Bet-Bet-Shove

Level 20 : Blinds 0/0, 15,000 ante

A2656
810K75

When it checked around to Avetik Charchyan in the cutoff, he fired out 120,000 on the flop. Paul Phillips was the only one to call in middle position.

A similar action happened on the turn as Philips checked, Charchyan bet 125,000, and Phillips called. Phillips tapped the table once again when the rivers hit and Charchyan shoved for 365,000. Phillips had around 380,000 behind and after going into the tank about a minute, he eventually let his hand go.

Zektser Scooped by Klein

Level 20 : Blinds 0/0, 15,000 ante

65A69
3238J

Igor Zekster and Robert Klein got it all in on the flop, with Zekster holding KQ22 for a boat on the bottom and the second nut flush draw on the top. Despite the strength of his hand across both boards, he was in terrible shape, as Klein's K1032 had him drawing dead on the bottom with a better full house, and drawing extremely slim on the top, as his flush draw was pipped by one.

With no deuces left in the deck, he needed to pair his king or queen while avoiding a heart, but didn't do so and had to leave the table.

Phillips Scoops Harder

The flop checked around and when it got to Matthew Tamura in middle position, he fired 100,000 on the turn. Christian Harder called from the hijack, and Paul Phillips called in the small blind.

Phillips decided to lead out for 165,000 when the rivers hit, which got a quick fold out of Tamura. Harder seemed to have a tough spot as he exhaled a huge puff of air and leant back to mull it over. Eventually, Harder called.

Phillips then showed J955 for a flush on the top and a full house on the bottom, which meant he scooped as Harder mucked.

Charchyan Holds on Against Graner

Level 21 : Blinds 0/0, 20,000 ante

921087
6K10J3

Avetik Charchyan got it all in against Stephen Graner holding K1096, good for top two pair on both flops, as well as backdoor clubs. Graner, on the other hand, held K973, giving him a flush draw on top and top pair on bottom. The bottom board had Graner drawing to a runner-runner that didn't come, and neither did a heart on top, letting Charchyan scoop the pot, and sending Graner to collect his check.

Clocktails Over at Table #654

Level 21 : Blinds 0/0, 20,000 ante
Kevin Ordet
Kevin Ordet

843810
298J4

Kevin Ordet had fired 25,000 on the flop, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Jacob Baumgartner put in a raise, which sent Ordet into the tank to try and make a pay jump.

"Do I have time to go and pee?" asked Danny Wong. "Sure, if you guys don't call the clock,", replied Ordet.

The jump was worth around $1,300 and Ordet's table were far too nice to him, allowing him to tank for around ten minutes before another play eventually busted. When that happened, Ordet put in his last chip.

Kevin Ordet: Q822 All in
Jacob Baumgartner: AQ104

Ordet ended with trips on the top and a set on the bottom, but Baumgartner hit a straight on the bottom, meaning they chopped it up.

At the same time the pot was chopped, the cocktail server came over to ask if the table wanted any drinks.

"Cocktails? You mean CLOCKtails!" said one of the table.

Shortly after that hand, Ordet was eliminated as he unable to spin up his short stack, though he was a little richer.
