Wasserson's Woes Continue

Level 16

Paul Volpe: XxXx / 5x - folded on third street
George Alexander: 66 / 9464 / A
Eric Wasserson: QxQx / 2258 / Xx

Paul Volpe completed before George Alexander raised from two seats over. Eric Wasserson, on Alexander's immediate left, three-bet. Volpe folded before Alexander called.

Alexander called bets on fourth and fifth street before check-raising on sixth street. Wasserson called.

On seventh street, Alexander fired out another bet and Wasserson called.

Alexander had sixes full of fours, which irked Wasserson as he said he'd started with queens.

Wasserson seemed less than impressed with Alexander, but it was the latter who dragged in the pot while Wasserson's stack continued to dwindle.

"How did I just lose with three aces against whatever the f*ck that is," complained Wasserson as he called. He was shown Volpe's full house to be left on crumbs.

Eric Wasserson: AJ10 / Q6J2 All in

Xu Hits Quads on Sixth; Alexander's Full House No Good

Level 17
Qiang Xu
Qiang Xu

A big pot had brewed between George Alexander and Qiang Xu. The latter put in his last bet on seventh street, even before seeing his final downcard. Alexander also called without looking at what his last card was.

Qiang Xu: 33 / KJ33 / AAll in
George Alexander: A2x / 4A2A / Q

Both players had monsters by sixth street, with Xu making quad threes while Alexander had aces full. Xu's last card was an ace meaning he'd locked up the hand as it blocked Alexander from making his four of a kind.
