Anatoly Nikitin raised to 240,000 in middle position, which was met by a three-bet from Masato Yokosawa to 650,000 in the cutoff.
After using most of the 30-second time clock, Nikitin announced a four-bet to 1,500,000. Yokosawa did not take long to send his cards into the muck, as Nikitin recovered some lost chips.

Anatoly Nikitin raised to 200,000 on the button and made the call after Masato Yokosawa three-bet to 1,000,000 in the big blind.
Yokosawa led out for 600,000 on the 9♠9♦5♦ flop, with Nikitin tossing in a call. The 3♦ hit the turn and Yokosawa took a moment before announcing all in for 1,810,000.
Nikitin studied his opponent for a few seconds before laying it down, as Yokosawa raked in the pot.
Action folded to Rafael Mota in middle position, and he moved all in for 1,710,000. Action then folded to Byron Kaverman in the small blind, who also moved all in; the big blind folded, and the cards were turned over.

Mota was at risk and a long way behind.
The board ran out a safe Q♣5♠A♣A♥9♠ for Kaverman, and Mota exited in 15th place.
Action folded around to Punnat Punsri in the small blind, who tossed in a calling chip. Mathew Frankland took some time in the big blind before raising to 400,000.
After using a time bank card, Punsri counted out a three-bet to 1,400,000. Frankland did not take long to muck his hand, as Punsri added to his stack without a flop.
Action folded round to Jim Collopy in the small blind, and he moved all in for his remaining 1,300,000 chips. Rafael Mota, in the big blind, confirmed the bet size and then called.

The flop had a little bit of something for everyone. Middle pair for Mota and an open-ended straight draw for Collopy on 10♠J♦8♣.
The turn brought Mota trips, with the 10♣ but the river saved Collopy's tournament life, coming the 7♣.
Chang Lee opened and was quickly met with a three-bet from Chin Wei Lim on his left. Action folded back around to Lee, who took some time before sliding in the call.
Lee checked the 4♦8♣J♥ flop and Lim continued with a bet. Lee then announced all in and Lim snapped it off.

Lim's pocket kings were well in front, but the 10♦ turn brought Lee additional outs. The dealer flipped over the 9♦ river, producing a cheer from Lee after seeing his straight come in to earn the double-up.
Mathew Frankland opened to 215,000 in middle position before Wai Kiat Lee slid out a three-bet on his immediate left. Action folded back around to Frankland, who announced all in. The call was quickly made and the cards were turned up.

Frankland's kings were never in danger through the 9♣K♦10♠4♣5♥ runout, sending Lee to the payout desk in 16th place.
Joe McKeehen raised to 200,000 from under the gun, and Chin Wei Lim called in the hijack. Wai Kiat Lee defended his big blind and the trio of players watched the K♣6♥5♠ flop hit the felt.
Lee checked to McKeehen, who continued for 175,000. Both players called and the K♦ turn was revealed.
Another check from Lee was followed by a check from McKeehen. Lim counted out a bet of 500,000, producing a quick fold from Lee and a call from McKeehen.
The 2♣ river saw McKeehen check again, folding after Lim fired a bet of 1,000,000 to take down the pot.
