Shylko Gets One Through

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Big blind Aliaksandr Shylko and Wai Kiat Lee in the cutoff were heads up on a flop of 62K. Lee bet 60,000, which Shylko check-raised to 180,000. Lee called to the 10 turn, where Shylko sized down to 140,000.

Lee pushed in another call, but folded when Shylko virtually moved all in by betting 400,000 on the 3 river.

Pocket Aces See Lim Leap Up the Chip Counts

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Chin Wei Lim made it 100,000 to go from early position and Asher Conniff three-bet to roughly 300,000 from the next seat. When it got back to Lim, he four-bet to 500,000. Conniff called to see a flop.

Lim made a continuation-bet of 250,000 on the 45Q flop and Conniff called.

Both players chose to check the K turn to see the 7 appear on the river. Lim burned through three of his time bank cards before betting 600,000. Conniff did some inventory and used a few time bank cards of his own before slamming in the call.

Lim flipped over AA for pocket aces, which were good as Conniff mucked his hand.

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

With the pot amounting to 400,000, Jovan Kenjic got his final 550,000 or so in on a turn of 4955 from the hijack against Rafael Mota in the big blind.

Jovan Kenjic: QQ All in
Rafael Mota: J5

Mota had turned trips to beat the overpair of Kenjic, officially eliminating him when the 9 river did not bring a lady on the board.

Weissman Left With Crumbs as Mota Exposes Cards

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Joey Weissman raised to 320,000 on the button, leaving only 20,000 behind. Rafael Mota called in the small blind and, thinking Weissman had gone all in, showed his AA to the table.

It was pointed out that Weissman was, in fact, not all in, and the 62Q flop was dealt. Mota then put Weissman all-in for his remaining chips.

Weissman spent four time banks before folding his A8 face-up as he could only catch running eights to win the pot.

Yokosawa Gets it Through

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Atanas Malinov raised in early position to 100,000. Next to act, Wai Kiat Lee three-bet to 225,000. Masato Yokosawa, sitting directly to the left of Lee, opted to cold four-bet all-in for 1,200,000.

Both Malinov and Lee returned their cards to the dealer promptly, and Yokosawa added the chips to his stack.

Weissman's Tournament Comes to an End

Joey Weissman
Joey Weissman

Joey Weissman committed his last 20,000 from early position before Rafael Mota made it 110,000 to go from the next seat. Everyone folded and the cards were flipped over.

Joey Weissman: 87 All in
Rafael Mota: A6

Weissman needed to hit something with his suited connector to start his spin-up. The 53Q flop gave Weissman a flush draw. However, the rest of the board came 22 and Mota's ace-high won the pot, eliminating Weissman.

Shylko Bets Every Street vs Malinov

Level 16 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Atanas Malinov made it 100,000 from under the gun with only Aliaksandr Shylko calling from the cutoff.

Malinov knuckled the action over to Shylko on the Q10Q flop, and Shylko bet 70,000. Malinov made the call.

The turn came the 3, prompting Malinov to check again. Shylko bet 130,000, which Malinov called.

After Malinov checked the 2 river, Shylko bet 400,000, which was exactly how much Malinov had in his stack. Malinov released his cards, and Shylko won the pot.
