Milgrom Doubles Through Zektser

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Nicolas Milgrom

Nicolas Milgrom opened to 700,000 from the cutoff and Igor Zektser announced a pot-sized raise from the button, enough to put Milgrom all in. Milgrom called off with his remaining stack of around 700,000, putting himself at risk.

Nicolas Milgrom: AJJ65 All in
Igor Zektser: KJ1088

Milgrom's pair of jacks were still good for the high on the 3K8 flop, but Zektser had a ton of outs to either scoop or take half with a flush draw, live overcards and the nut-low draw. Miraculously for Milgrom, the 8 turn and 10 river were bricks. No low was possible and his two pair, jacks and eights were good for a full double up.

"Who said two jacks were bad?" Milgrom joked.

"What an amazing hold" Joshua Biedak commented as Milgrom dragged in the pot.

The 10 that completed the board as Ho was coming to terms with his elimination.

Paul Sincere couldn't contain his excitement as his friend and fellow competitor Hoenig was awarded the pot, clapping his hands, and shouting, "Let's go! It's my first World Series final table, I can't help myself." Hoenig was amused but reminded his friend that Ho had just busted.
