Housser Bets Small on the River, Lawhead Hits Two Pair

With around 8,000 in the pot on a 2♥6♣8♥A♠ board, Christopher Housser checked from the big blind and Benjamin Palmer also tapped the table from under the gun. David Lawhead was in the cutoff and bet 5,000, which both Housser and Palmer called.

A 4♠ completed the board and Housser decided to lead out with a small sizing of 2,500. Palmer quickly folded, and Lawhead called.

"Ace," announced Housser as he revealed A♣7♣. Lawhead then rolled over A♦6♠ for two pair, which was good enough to see him scoop the pot.
