Paur Gets Paid by Elias; Ivey Shoves on Wasserson

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 1,200 ante
Taylor Paur
Taylor Paur

Taylor Paur and Darren Elias were heads-up after the draw when Paur bet 11,000 from the small blind. Elias called in the cutoff and Paur showed 9x6x5x4x2x to win the pot.

At the same time on another table, while Billy Baxter was regaling his tablemates with old timers stories, Phil Ivey raised to 2,400 on the button and Eric Wasserson three-bet to 9,000 in the small blind.

Ivey quickly pushed forward his stack of 60,000 and Wasserson instantly mucked.

Both players stood pat and Obst showed 7x5x4x3x2x for a wheel. Harman flashed a 7-6 as she mucked. The stacks were counted down and Obst had 70,000 remaining. He barely had Harman covered, and Harman pushed the rest of her stack over to Obst as she made her exit.
