Kornuth took one and Morris stood pat. Kornuth then led out for 3,500 and Morris called.

Kornuth showed 9x8x6x5x2x, but Morris turned over 9x8x5x4x2x to win the pot.

Massman Pays Seiver Off

Robert Massman opened to 800 from under the gun and was three-bet to 3,000 by Scott Seiver in the cutoff. Action folded back to Massman, who called.

Both players drew one and then Massman checked to Seiver, who overbet the pot for 13,000.

Massman thought a bit before sticking in a call and Seiver tabled 8x7x6x4x2x. Massman couldn't beat it and tossed his hand into the muck.

Wasserson folded, but Claassen and Breck both called. Claassen and Tate stood pat, while Breck took one.

All three players checked and Claassen showed a nine, but Breck turned over 8x6x5x3x2x to win the pot, raising his arms in the air as the chips were pushed to him.

Baxter drew one and Morris took two off. Both players then checked and Baxter said, "I have a pair."

"Pair is good," Morris responded. Baxter then tabled 6x6x8x5x2x and Morris sent his hand into the muck.

Baxter, who was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2006 and has seven WSOP bracelets to his name, has a storied history and will be looking to make a deep run.
