Negreanu Drops Below a Million

Oscar Johansson raised to 60,000 under the gun and Daniel Negreanu called in the small blind.

Both players drew one and Johansson bet 150,000. Negreanu called, then mucked when Johansson showed 9x7x5x4x2x to win the pot.

The next hand, Darren Elias limped in from the small blind, Johansson raised to 75,000 in the big blind, and Elias called.

Both players drew one and Elias led out for 75,000. Johansson then raised to 250,000 and Elias folded.

Darren Elias raised to 60,000 on the button and Stuart Rutter called all in for the same amount in the big blind.

Rutter took three and Elias one. Rutter turned over 9x5x2x and drew a 4x on his first card. "That's a good start," Daniel Negreanu said.

Elias, meanwhile, had Jx9x7x6x and drew a 10x to make J-10. Rutter peeled his last card but found a Qx as he was sent to the rail in 10th place.
