Green's Aces Get Run Over

Level 5 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With around 45,000 in the middle, a completed board of K8797 was spread across the felt. The action was on Richard Green who was first to act and he shipped all in for 105,000, more than twice the size of the pot.

Brock Wilson was faced with a decision and used a time bank before flicking in the call. Green flipped over AA but Wilson showed 107 for trip sevens, sending Green to the rail.

Plesuv Slows Down Reard

Level 5 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Pavel Plesuv raised to 12,000 in the hijack and Alexandre Reard defended from the big blind. The flop came 1033 and Reard checked to Plesuv who continued with a bet of 10,000. Reard check-raised to 35,000 and Plesuv called.

The turn brought the Q and Reard led out with another bet of 85,000. Plesuv still called and the 2 completed the board. Reard checked this time and Plesuv quickly checked it back. Reard showed 64 for a missed flush draw while Plesuv had the winner with AK.

Saliba and Yang Getting After It

Level 4 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Justin Saliba opened to 11,000 and Chongxian Yang three-bet to 28,000 in the cutoff. Alexandros Theologis stuck in a four-bet to 64,000 on the button and both players folded.

On the next hand, Viktor Blom raised to 11,000 from early position and Saliba three-bet to 33,000. Yang four-bet to 75,000 which got Blom to fold but Saliba called.

The flop fell J92 and Saliba check-called a bet of 55,000 from Yang. The turn was the 6 and Saliba check-called another bet of 65,000 from Yang. The river brought the 7 and Saliba checked one more time. Yang used two of his time banks before finally checking back.

Saliba turned over J10 for top pair and Yang was unable to beat it.

The next hand, Stephen Chidwick opened in early position and Suvarna called in the cutoff to get things heads up.

Chidwick continued for 7,000 on the flop of 42A and Suvarna called. Both players then checked on the J turn.

Chidwick checked once more on the K river and Suvarna bet 21,000. Chidwick called, only to muck as Suvarna showed top pair with A5.

Tang Gets Trappy with Aces

Level 4 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Brek Schutten opened to 10,000 in middle position and Nick Petrangelo reraised to 30,000 on his left. Danny Tang flat-called from the big blind and Schutten stepped aside.

The flop came K82 and Tang check-called a bet of 12,500 from Petrangelo. The turn was the J and Tang checked again. Petrangelo tossed in a bet of 55,000 and Tang still called.

The river was the 5 and Tang checked for the third time. Petrangelo checked it back and Tang whipped over AA for the best hand.

Maimone Shows a Queen

Level 4 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a heads-up pot between Clemen Deng on the button and Nicholas Maimone in the small blind, Maimone bet 65,000 on the board of Q937 and Deng called.

The 9 river completed the board and Maimone used a time extension before checking. Deng moved all in for around 160,000 and Maimone folded to hang onto a little less than that, showing the Q in the process.

Kulev Bets Out Lin

Level 4 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ren Lin opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Alex Kulev called on the button as Samuel Laskowitz defended his big blind.

Laskowitz checked on the flop of 24K and Lin continued for 20,000. Kulev called and Laskowitz folded.

Lin checked on the A turn and Kulev checked back. Lin checked once more on the 8 river and Kulev used a time bank before betting 70,000. Lin laid it down.
