Shylko Tries to Bait Heath with the Nuts

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ben Heath raised to 16,000 from under the gun and was called by Aliaksandr Shylko and Kristen Foxen in the blinds. The flop came AQJ and the blinds checked to Heath who continued with a bet of 14,000. Shylko called and Foxen got out of the way.

The A paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the 6 on the river. Shylko led out with a small bet of just 15,000 and Heath opted to just call. Shylko flipped over AQ for the nuts and Heath mucked his cards.

Plesuv Raises River

Pavel Plesuv opened to 16,000 from the cutoff and Keyavash Hemyari defended in the big blind.

Hemyari checked on the flop of 66K and Plesuv continued for 12,000. Hemyari called. Hemyari checked again on the 10 turn and Plesuv sized up to 53,000. Hemyari called.

Hemyari then led out for 115,000 on the J river and Plesuv raised to 252,000 with just 1,000 behind. Hemyari laid it down.

Roser Topples Gathy

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jack Roser raised it up on the button and Michael Gathy reraised to 60,000 from the small blind. Roser just called and the dealer spread the flop of KKQ. Gathy led out with a bet of 35,000 and Roser still called.

The turn was the 10 and Gathy slid out a bet of 110,000. Roser quickly called again and the A hit the river. Gathy made a small bet of just 50,000 and Roser jammed all in as the bigger stack.

Gathy used a time bank before calling off the additional 160,000, only to have Roser show QQ for a full house. Gathy was left with AJ for a straight and was bounced from the tournament.
