Rogers Hits Huge Flop

Level 26 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante
David Rogers
David Rogers

Jason Duong and David Rogers got into another battle, as Duong put in a raise from the cutoff, and Rogers decided to defend his big blind, leaving less than a big bet behind.

On a flop of 965, Duong opted for a continuation-bet after being checked to, and Rogers then placed in the rest of his stack. Duong realised he only had to place in less than the amount of a small bet to call, and did so.

David Rogers: K2 All in
Jason Duong: A9

Rogers showed that he had gotten the dream flop, and had Duong drawing to runner-runner. The turn 2 sealed his double up, and he apologised to the rest of the table on the 10 river, as he denied them all a pay jump.
