The flop came 5J2 and Rogers check-called a bet from Makowsky.

Rogers check-called another bet from Makowsky on the 6 turn. On the A river Rogers led out with a bet and Makowsky called, leaving just 40,000 behind.

Rogers turned over a rivered top pair with A8. Makowskiy showed that he had QJ before mucking his hand,

Makowsky was eliminated the next hand, holding JJ at showdown on a board reading 9K824. He was up against Nicholas Tsoukalas who had 99 for a set of nines to eliminate Makowskiy.

With two players seeing a board of J8Q and around 125,000 in the middle David Rogers checked from under the gun and called a bet from Florian Pesce in the cutoff.

Pesce bet again when checked to on the 8 turn. Rogers raised and Pesce called. Both players then checked the 3 river.

Rogers showed a flopped straight with 109 which was enough to take the pot, leaving Pesce with under two big bets.

Pesce was in the big blind a few hands later and committed the last of his chips with Jx7x. He was up against Daniel Makowsky who had AxJx and held with the best hand to eliminate Pesce.

Johns bet out on the 629 flop, and Bartley called off for his remaining chips.

The turn and river were J and J, but despite hitting running trips Bartley's jacks were not enough to beat Johns' full house.

Tyburski Takes a Chunk from Lenkeit

Adam Tyburski opened from the hijack and Paul Lenkeit defended from the big blind.

The flop came 78Q and Leideck check-called a bet from Tyburski.

Lenkeit led with a bet on the Q turn and Tyburski called. On the K river Lenkeit fired another barrel, Tyburski raised and Lenkeit called.

Lenkeit had turned trips with Q5 but Tyburski had flopped a set and turned a full house with 77.

"Dirty turn" Lenkeit commented as Tyburski was shipped the pot.

Daniel Makowsky found a timely double as his stack dwindled. Makowsky raised from middle position and was raised by Nicholas Tsoukalas from the big blind. Makowsky flicked in his last few thousand to be put at risk.

Poker-Playing Pirate Allegedly Stabbed Man, Solicited and Ran Over Woman

Scotter Clark, a poker player who often dressed in full pirate costume at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), was arrested Monday in Oklahoma for allegedly soliciting a woman and stabbing a man who confronted him.

Clark was booked in the Tulsa Municipal Jail and charged with two felony counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. The incident isn't the first time he's ran into some legal trouble.

Beversdorf Shows Down a Flush

The flop came A56 and Beversdorf bet. Duong raised and Beversdorf called.

Both players checked the 7 turn and K river. Beversdorf had rivered a flush with 73 which was good to take the pot.
