Potter Turns a Bounty

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

John Ferguson was extremely short-stacked and got his four big blinds into the middle preflop. Despite the tempting prize of a $500 bounty per knockout, he only received one customer, in David Potter.

John Ferguson: A3 All in
David Potter: K10

The 769 flop seemed relatively safe for Ferguson; however Potter did pick up outs to a straight. He wouldn't need them, however, as the 10 turn had Ferguson drawing only to an ace. It didn't come on the 9 river, and he handed his bounty chip over to Potter as he left the ballroom.

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action checked through on the J4A flop.

On the turn K, Enas Barkho bet 2,500, prompting Lonis to fold, while Noam Muallem called.

The river was the K. Barkho bet 5,000, but Muallem responded by clicking it back to 10,000. Barkho called and was shown KQ, which was good for the win.

Marquez Picks up First Bounty

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Anthony Marquez, who was relatively short-stacked, got it all in preflop against Jianqiang Yu, the table's shortest stack, searching to pick up his first bounty of the tournament.

Jianqiang Yu: A6 All in
Anthony Marquez: AK

The 1075 flop left Yu drawing even slimmer than he was before, as Marquez picked up a flush draw. The 8 turn gave him a bit of extra hope, but the 10 sealed his fate and secured Marquez his first bounty token.
