False Promises From Zamani; Friedman Chips Up

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three ways to the flop scrolled across K74. Scott Heiligman checked and Martin Zamani bet 3,500. Patricio Jimenez folded and Heiligman called.

The turn brought the 6 and Heiligman tapped the table. Zamani continued for 5,000 and Heiligman didn't waste much time check-raising all in for 21,000. Zamani snap-folded and said, "No more bluffing..."

The Very Next Hand:

Martin Zamani raised to 3,000 in early position and Adam Friedman raised again to 11,000. Zamani flicked in the call.

The dealer presented the Q85. Zamani check-called a bet of 3,500 from Friedman.

The turn peeled the 5 and Zamani took the initiative, leading for 3,500 — the same sizing he had called the street before. Friedman called.

The river completed with the 6 and both players checked.

Zamani tabled A10 and Friedman quickly showed AK to claim the pot with a better ace high.

"No more bluffs I said... I'm such a fish."

Friedman neither agreed or disagreed with Friedman as he collected the pot.
